KV-LITE CAFS FOAM is a specially developed foam concentrate designed for Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS). The formulation delivers excellent foam expansion and stability when applied through compressed air systems operating at pressures of 7–12 bars. It contains speciality hydrocarbon surfactants, stabilisers, preservatives, and solvents that work together to provide dependable firefighting performance. The concentrate ensures effective vapour suppression, cooling, and fire control across a wide range of applications.
The foam concentrate can be proportioned according to the required expansion ratio and foam stability requirements of the application. Due to its low proportioning rate, it offers significant cost advantages in terms of foam usage, storage requirements, and handling. The formulation produces a stable foam structure that remains effective over extended periods, making it suitable for demanding firefighting environments.
KV-LITE CAFS FOAM is designed for use with aspirating and non-aspirating foam discharge equipment and compressed air foam systems. It provides excellent fire suppression, vapour control, and cooling performance while producing a stable, finely dispersed foam blanket for effective firefighting operations.
